Reality Roll Call’s WTF of the Day: Tyra Interviews a Woman With Two Vaginas

Last week Tyra Banks interviewed a woman with two vaginas on her self-titled talk show.

My favorite part of this clip, aside from Ty-Ty’s melodramatic introduction, is when Tyra says, “It’s already tough enough having one vagina, and you have two.” What is going on with Tyra’s body that she has been struggling with having a vagina?

FYI: The plural of vagina is actually vaginae. I didn’t write because who in the world says it in normal conversation?

Man charged with stalking Tyra has his day in court

The man accused of stalking America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks last year will go on trial today in New York City.

Brady Green of Dublin, GA  spent much of his spare time last winter phoning Tyra’s studio, sending her letters, flowers and following her from coast to coast. On March 18, 2008 he was arrested in Manhattan for showing up at the studio where her daytime talk show, The Tyra Banks Show is taped. 

The 36 year old Green has entered a plea of not guilty of stalking and harassment. He was just working his crazy-creep mojo that drives the ladies wild.

If convicted he could face 90 days in prison.

America’s Next Top Model Casting Call

“AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL” RETURNS TO NEW YORK CITY FOR OPEN CASTING CALL ON SATURDAY, APRIL 11 April 6, 2009 (Burbank, California) AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL returns to New York City on Saturday, April 11 to hold one final open call for Cycle 13. As previously announced, females age 18 to 27, of diverse backgrounds, shapes, sizes and with a height requirement of 5′7″ and under are eligible to audition. Confirmed location will be posted to www.cwtv.com later this week. Audition Rules and Guidelines: 1. No lining up overnight and no lining up prior to 6:00am. Registration will begin at 7:00am. These times may be amended at Producer’s discretion. 2. Proof of age is required to enter the line. Acceptable identification must include picture and birth date. 3. Colors of wristbands indicate when your scheduled audition time will be. If your scheduled audition time is several hours or more from the time that you receive your wristband, then we encourage you to leave and come back. 4. Only women applying should stand in line. If someone is just short of being 18, she can have one guardian with her. Please note that you must turn 18 by April 15, 2009 to audition. 5. Please make sure that you have everything you need to audition before you get into any line (for wristbands, etc.). You will only be allowed one bag that can fit comfortably on your lap inside the venue. This will be enforced by security. 6. No jumping in line or holding places in advance for others but it’s okay if you’re going to the restroom or getting food and water. You’re not guaranteed to be allowed back in line. Be courteous to others around you. 7. Casting staff will give special instructions for the disabled. 8. Once in the venue, no ins and outs. 9. Only one audition per open call do not try again if you’ve been cut. 10. Casting staff wearing official ANTM gear outside the venue may ask you for information in advance but be careful who you talk to and avoid anyone trying to charge you anything to participate. 11. ANTM: Go Sees

After a slew of go-sees and a shoot with Tyra Banks, four models remain on America’s Next Top Model. During the go-sees they are judged by their portfolio, runway walk, appearance and personality. Samantha visits the Marlies-Dekkers studio first, and the designer quickly pegs her as too commercial, saying she wouldn’t use her in a show. In fact, Marlies-Dekkers is the most critical of the bunch, telling Elina that her tattoos were troubling and asking Marjorie to relax and stand-up straight. Marjorie was the most painful to watch. In the four hours they had to visit five designers and get back to the modeling agency, Marjorie was only able to find two, and with the two she finds she’s a ball of nerves. When she visits Hans Ubbink the most he says to her is, “thank you, goodbye.” I didn’t think it was possible for the girl to be any more deflated then she already is, but she managed to shrink like a raisin in the sun.

On the other hand, perpetually confident Elina was blind to the fact that the designers weren’t too keen on her either. She ran to Mark Visser’s studio, but he was not thrilled at her enthusiasm—she was sweating. He says, “Now she’s sweating up my clothes.” It was funny to here him try, as politely as possible, to tell her to take off his dress. The designers loved McKey. Monique Collingnon said she’d look stunning in a show and all the other designers nearly trembled in adulation as soon as they saw her face at the door. Analiegh was also well-liked, and Hans Ubbink said she was great.

The girls have to return to the modeling agency where they received their assignments by 5 pm or they’ll be disqualified from winning the challenge prize. Everyone arrives on time except McKey, who, if she had not been disqualified would have won the challenge. In the end Analeigh won $18,000 worth of jewelry and clothing from the five designers. McKey was disappointed but took it in stride. On the other hand Elina, who was not very popular among the designers, commented that Analiegh shouldn’t have won, it should have been herself or McKey.

Back at the house, the girl’s clue to their photo shoot insinuated that they should be prepare to bare all. Samantha was relieved to find out that they wouldn’t actually be naked, but that Tyra would be taking pictures of them without make-up. During the shoot, Tyra said she didn’t enjoy shooting Marjorie because she was so twitchy; Elina kept losing her pose because she was trying so hard; Analeigh, though pretty, definitely needs make-up in order to photograph well; McKey bends herself backwards, using her signature pose to great effect; and Samantha does a good job as well.

Panel high-jinks include Ms. Jay making Elina take off her shirt, which paled in comparison to last week when he took off his pants and threw them at Samantha. In the end though, Marjorie and Elina are in the bottom two with Elina’s controlled over-confidence trumping Marjorie’s twitchyness.

America’s Next Top Model spawns its first spinoff

Tyra Banks‘ hit reality competition show, America’s Next Top Model will be giving birth to its first spinoff on the CW. The show, Operation Fabulous, will feature ANTM stars J. Alexander and Jay Manuel, as they tour the country, turning ordinary women into “model” citizens. Get it? “Model citizens”? It’s a play on words…never mind. This is a makeover show, not a competition. The women will get complete overhauls and fashion advise that suits them as individuals.

Anyway, this will be the third fashion-themed reality show on the CW, including their newest, “Stylista”, which debuts on October 22.  All shows are produced by Tyra Banks and Ken Mok.

Real World Hollywood’s Nick On The Tyra Banks Show

Anyone that watched Real World Hollywood knows that Nick was the replacement roommate when Greg Halstead got kicked off the show. You may also remember that he wanted to be host of his own show. Well, he’s not quite there yet, but he is on a talk show, which is a step in the right direction. Take a look a the video clip below….Nick appears around the 1:40 mark and actually speaks around the 4:40 mark.

Blindfold Catwalk Challenge on America’s Next Top Model

TWO GIRLS ARE SENT HOME IN A SURPRISE ELIMINATION The ladies practice their strut down a catwalk while wearing blindfolds and one girl shocks the judges when she decides to lift her dress while posing. The winner of the blindfold challenge will pose for designer Kira Plastinina in a Seventeen Magazine advertorial. In this week’s photo challenge, the girls pose with their eyes. After the judges deliberate, one girl is sent packing. Tyra Banks, Paulina Porizkova, J. Alexander and Nigel Barker are the judges.
