Big Brother 8: Let The Games Begin!

So tonight was the first eviction of season 8, officially kicking off the mind games and manipulation that is Big Brother. Carol was the first to be sent home, which I don’t think was much of a surprise to anyone in the house or watching the live feeds. Personally, I would’ve kept her for 2 reasons. The first being that I think she’s cute, and the second being as Eric said “she’s a weak player”. Also I think she could have easily been taken into any alliance and she would’ve been loyal a lot longer than Amber. The only good thing about Carol being gone is that more solid alliances will be formed now that her wishy-washy personality is out of the house.

WOW. Jen is the new HOH. I must admit I did not see that one coming. Especially since house consensus was that she was going to be the next one evicted. That really puts a wrench in everyone’s plans and it also makes time with Jen a hot commodity, because believe it or not people (even the guys) don’t like Jen, and don’t like really spending time with her.

The people that I would right off the bat say are safe are Eric and Jessica, since they were the only ones to have any real conversations with her. As of right now, I think she’ll put up Dick for sure and either Joe or Nick. I say, Dick because she made it evident from the first competition that she didn’t really like Dick. And I’ll think she’ll nominate Joe because when she lied to the group and said Nick tried to kiss her, he ran off and told Nick immediately, which started a fight between her and Nick.

Well that’s all I have to say for now until Sunday’s show airs. Peace
