Since yesterday’s Big Brother episode didn’t leave a lasting impression on me, I decided to dedicate this post to the very first ever, “Tru Mack’s Big Brother 8 Week 3 Awards.” And the winners are:
Most Boring -
Mike: How do you not know how to be funny? During the Veto competition he changed costumes and stood there, silently staring at Dick. Who does that? It did work in getting Dick to give up, but only because he pissed him off.
Most Likely To Be Targeted for Eviction Next Week:
Dick: His in your face attitude is refreshing to me but, it seems to be making some of the house guests uneasy. His constant outbursts could be an easy cop-out reason for nomination.
Most Under The Radar:
Jameka: She always seems to be very socialble but she never comes up in any houseguest’s strategy talk. If her strategy is to blend in with the furniture, she is succeeding.
Most “Janelle-y”:
Jen: There are rumors swirling around the internet that both Janelle and Chill Town have ringers in the house. And I think Jen might be Janelle’s ringer. I could totally see them hanging out together outside of the house. But the main thing that makes Jen “Janelle-y”, is that she wins when she needs to.
Most Creepy:
Zach: Something about this guy just really creeps me out. His laugh, his weird smile, the way it seems like a chore for him to carry on a conversation all reeks of creepiness. I think he kind of picked up on the fact that the other house guest were weirded out by him so he decided to win them all over. By STREAKING ACROSS THE BACK YARD! I’m not sure if it worked, but it gave everyone a good laugh when they took his clothes and ran in the house.
Biggest Breakdown:
Kail: Normally this award would go to Amber and her many meltdowns, but Dick’s onslaught of constant reminders to Kail that she was going home really took their toll. She has stayed to herself for the most part this week because when she came out Dick usually found her and reminded her that she couldn’t be trusted and brought her nomination on herself. Dick had her so rattled that she couldn’t stop shaking during the veto competition, and was immediately eliminated.
Most All Over The Place:
Daniele: One minute she’s confiding in Dick, and the next she’s telling Amber how much she hates him and how she can’t wait to put him and Zach up for eviction. At first I thought that was just part of her game to act like she still didn’t like him so she could save face within the house. I tossed that theory out the window when she went up into the HOH room to cuss Dick out. She does the same thing to Nick. One minute she wants to spend all day with Nick and the next, she doesn’t want to deal with him. I just can’t get a read on this girl.
Most Likeable:
Eric: He hasn’t rubbed anyone the wrong way so far, and he also really makes himself the center of attention now that Joe is gone and nobody seems to care. As long as his strong personality doesn’t start to annoy people he’ll have this award for many weeks.
Becoming full of themselves:
Dustin and Amber: Recently on the feeds they’ve been talking about how they think they have a lot of influence in the house, and how everyone loves them and comes to them with their problems. The only people I’ve seen come to them about their problems were Nick and Daniele. Then one early morning when tanning they began talking about who they bring with them to the final four. Their tone of voice let you know that they actually thought they had so much control they would get that far. As long as they keep their new found confidence between each other they should be fine because, if they start acting too cocky they could quickly become a target.
Most Surprising:
Nick: He really stood up to Dick this week once he got a little beer in him, which surprised me since he seemed like a very mild mannered individual. Well, outside of him being an ex-pro football player and his stories about fighting his brothers and head butting his dad, he seemed mild mannered. I think he also gained Dick’s respect which is a good thing if he’s trying to pursue a relationship with Daniele.
Why am I Here? Award:
Jessica: What is her purpose in the house. It seems to have left with Carol two weeks ago. You never really see her on the show, and she doesn’t really stand out on the live feeds. She doesn’t even fall into the dumb blond roll, because she doesn’t say anything stupid. Besides, right now Jen is the dumb blond. Jessica is cute though, so I guess that’s a good enough reason to be there in my book.
