On October 15th VH-1 will debut “The Salt ‘n’ Pepa Show”, a reality show staring former rap stars Sandy “Pepa” Denton, and Cheryl James Wray, formerly known as “Salt”.

The series reunites them to resolve the issues surrounding their break-up, and to have them performing together again. Wray has spent the years since deciding to leave the group raising a family in Long Island, and devoting herself to her spirituality. Denton was most recently on VH-1’s The Surreal Life, a show that has been known to revive former superstars to b-list notoriety.

Salt ‘n’ Pepa were on the top of their game when they broke up in the nineties. Who knows, maybe the duo has one more hit in them.

I live on Long Island and back in the 80’s was a big fan of “Salt & Pepa”. Cheryl and her husband has come into the restaurant where I work and I would love to see the pair (along with Spinderella) one more time. I can understand them not staying together but that is something “I” would like to see and hear!!!!!!
