Reality Roll Call

A Vista, North Carolina couple has just finished shooting a pilot for a reality show, called The Big Purple Couch. The idea for the show, in which local townspeople sit on the sofa and talk about themselves, and what is important to them.

The couple, Michael and Cheryl Johnson, say they got the idea for the show from a Kleenex commercial where people are sitting on a sofa in a public area, having a cathartic moment with a therapist.
