Britney Spears Charged With Hit and Run, Faces Possible Jail Time

According to TMZ.com, pop icon and star of Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, Britney Spears was charged with a count of hit and run, causing property damage, and one count of driving without a California license. Each charge carries a maximum of six months jail time. These charges stem from an August 6th accident. Her arraignment is scheduled for October 10.
