Nick Hogan’s Friend Will Need Lifelong Care
Faith W | October 10, 2007John Graziano, the passenger in the car accident involving Hulk Hogan’s son Nick may need lifelong care, and at the very best will be only able to open and close his eyes, according to The St. Petersburg Times.
On September 19, the court appointed a registered nurse to examine Graziano and determine his medical condition. The nurse, indentified as Joanne Jones, said that he was on total life support, and that there was a possibility that he would have a seizure. He is unable to respond to touch or sounds, but responds to pinch and has a gag reflex. His pupils do not respond to light.
Graziano’s injuries from the August 26 car accident were a broken skull at the base, had part of his skull cut out, experienced brain swelling and had cuts to the scalp. Parts of his skull were fractured and pushed in and he had an abnormal collection of blood in the front of his skull.
On September 27 the court awarded Graziano’s mother Debra emergency temporary custody, to allow her to apply for military benefits on her son’s behalf. His father Edward is contesting the appliaction.
