Jes Rickleff Clears the Air

In an article for The Suburban Chicago News, Rock of Love winner Jes Rickleff explained exactly why she chose not to be with Poison’s Bret Michaels. Aside from just playing him to get ahead, like some folks assume.
Jes explains that she “doesn’t think you can fall in love with someone after just five weeks.” So, I’m thinking that she was hoping to be eliminated early on, because she knew there was no future for her and Bret. After all, at the reunion show, she did say that she thought Bret chose the wrong girl. So, this whole thing is really his fault, for not eliminating her when he had the chance. There are times that a person enters a competition to lose, and this must have been her intention.
Jes also said, “I think once I took a step back from the competition, I realized that I didn’t want to be someone who made out with like 20 other women in the house, and will constantly be around other women. It’s gross.” Again, his fault, because I am sure she didn’t realize what she was signing up for when she auditioned for the show.
But in the end, it makes for good for television, and it gives VH1 another season of Rock of Love.
Hopefully, they will eventually come up with a dating show for everyone, like Polka of Love with Weird Al Yankovich, or Mambo of Love, with Lou Bega. You know you’d watch.

I liked her too but it was so obvious they weren’t a match. I wasn’t surprised in the least they didn’t work out.
I liked her–but that was a pretty lame cop out.
