The Bachelor Creator is Not Pleased With Brad Womack

This week Bachelor Brad made the most unexpected and controversial decision in the history of the reality show by giving both finalists their walking papers in the season finale, and the show’s creator and producer, Mike Fleiss is not a happy camper.

On last night’s wrap show, After the Final Rose, the two jilted women,  Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas were given the chance to vent and shed tears over the outcome of the show, and to confront Brad the Cad for the first time since he sent them packing. Brad’s overall explanation was still vague and lukewarm, kind of like, “You know, I woke up that morning all set to go out and propose. Then I went to buy the ring, and I realized I wasn’t in the mood. Screw it.”

Although he told DeAnna that he thinks about her a lot, he also said that he stands behind his choice, which seemed to break her heart all over again on national television. Needless to say, there were a lot of hurt feeling and angry people in the room. Certainly not what viewers have come to expect from one of the more romantic dating reality shows on tv.

Creator Mike Fleiss was interviewed by Entertainment magazine, where he revealed that the network did not know about Brad’s decision until the day of the finale. He said that it was a real buzzkill to shoot the final show, because usually there is a happy couple at the end. Although Brad gave ABC the same weak excuse that he gave the girls, it seems that Fleiss isn’t buying it. The speculation that he is still very close to his ex, Laurel Kagay and has a two year-old daughter was not mentioned in the interview.

  1. Brad knew at inception he was not going to marry any of the girls. He misrepresented himself to everyone. He has exploited these girls for his business ventures by posting their photos on his business websites.
Did he procure photo releases from them? If not, they may have a judical remedy, and sue him. He used the show, and the girls for his own monetary gain*****
It was clear at inception, that his gesticulations, clearly indicated he was just going through the motions, with each of the girls pouring their hearts out.
Brad had an agenda. He was going to use ABC and the photo’s of the girls, which he is not in most of them, to post in his business. He also has comments on the bottom of the photo’s on his website.
I am sure that ABC did not give him a “global release” to utilize the girls photo’s to promote his business.::::::
There should be some legal recourse for all.

It’s fine if he doesn’t find anybody he loves on the show… but if you already have someone you’re interested in, don’t go onto a television show where the entire premise is to find someone to love.

He sounds like a real prize…

I think he did the right thing … if you don’t feel it, you don’t feel it and to force that is just playing a game. I believe that your heart will tell you and unfortunately America has led us/women to believe that all you need it a pretty face and a nice body and any “boy” will fall in love. True love doesn’t work that way. The fairy tales that we read from the time we’re 2/3 are quite misleading. I give him a lot of credit for leading with his heart and not … well, you know the other thing.

guys like to pursue and women like to be pursued. there is something very unattractive about women bearing their hearts without the guy having to do any work at all. this is why the bachelorette worked but the bachelor is always a dismal failure. god created guys to want to work for something when they want it….if the challenge isn’t there, what’s the point?

I think Jenni nd DeAna should be glad that Brad did decide to opt out! Imagine if he did pick one of them to be his wife, and then, maybe a few weeks later, decide it wasn’t for him!

I never watch these types of shows but my husband and i tuned in this season because the two finalists were nice looking women (according to my husband) Brad knew what he was getting into and he did the show and all of the women a dis-service by agreeing to go on. What a joke. I wish these women understood that he did them a favor. Another, emotionally unstable and dis-functional man. Probably has erectile disfunction and likes men. He is blue collar, not that attractive and there is a whole group of women in my San Francisco office who would touch him with a ten foot pole. I hate to call a spade a spade, but this guy is a LOSER
