Winner Mary Delgado Arrested for Assault of Bachelor 6

Mary Delgado, the winner of Season 6 of ABC’s dating reality show, The Bachelor was arrested in Pinellas, FL for the assault of her fiance, Bachelor Byron Velvick. Ironically, the arrest came just hours after the couple’s appearance on this season’s reunion show, After the Rose.

It seems that Delgado, a former Tampa Bay Bucaneer Cheerleader is accused of punching Velvick in the mouth, giving him a bloody lip. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the altercation.

Delgado and Velvick have been a living together for three years, since she was his choice on The Bachelor. On Tuesday’s reunion show, the couple said that they were very happy and planning to get married this month.

I could not believe this when I heard about it especially since I had just seen them on the “After the Rose” show the day before that and they looked really happy.
