Survivor 16 Starts Feb 8, Talk of All Stars 2

It may seem a bit early to talk about the next season of Survivor, when we are still enjoying the wicked machinations of Todd, and mourning the suicidal game play of James, but Survivor 16 will jump off on February 8.

Reports say that the location of the castaways will be Palau, which was also the locale of choice in 2005. There is a lot of speculation that this will possibly be the final Survivor, as Jeff Probst is only signed on through season 16, and CBS hasn’t renewed the show’s contract yet. But that may all change in weeks to come since there no end to the writer’s strike is in site. Besides, there’s no reason why the show couldn’t continue with or without Jeff, but let’s face it; it really would be weird without him. Kind of like The Price is Right is with Drew Carey.

So don’t go getting Drew Carey to do Survivor 17, CBS! He wouldn’t look right in a straw hat, khakis and sandals…

But, I digress.  Coby from Survivor wrote in his blog that he was asked to do Survivor All Stars 2, but he was turned down. He also mentioned that Amanda was picked, and he is puzzled as to why.
