New York takes her remaining two guys, Buddha and Tailor Made, on a whirlwind adventure to Jamaica!
New York and Buddha go horseback riding on the beach in Jamaica. Of course, this frightens our girl New York – remember how she was dragged on the horse when she went riding with Flava Flav? Too funny! She does a little better this time. The guides lead Buddha and New York and their respective horses on a romantic horseback ride on the beach and through a shallow lake. “Why is he growling at me?”, says New York about her horse. Considering the way she behaved with Flav, she behaved much more admirably this time.
Meanwhile, Tailor Made has a panic attack wondering what Buddha is doing with “his girl”. Sister Patterson shows up to keep Tailor Made company. She tells him his strategy isn’t working and that he needs to call on his German ancestors (he comes from nobility, did ya know?), and they seem to begin to pray together. All of a sudden, Sister Patterson slaps him across his face! Does she slap some sense into him? Not really sure why, but supposedly it works. Tailor Made is given a renewed sense of strength and toughens up.
Tailor Made swears to God that he will give 10% of his salary to charity if God gives New York to him. Hysterical!
Tailor Made and NY have lunch and he jumps off a cliff to “prove his love” for her. No, he doesn’t scream like a girl; I was surprised, too.
He then proposes to her and presents her with a huge rock! NY has flashbacks of being proposed to by Tango and then being jilted on last season’s reunion show! She then leaves to “clear her head” and Tailor Made stays at the dinner table with the Jamaican singer playing guitar for entertainment. The next morning, Tailor Made wonders if he’s scared off New York.
New York meets the guys on the beach to make her final choice. She tells Tailor Made she’s seen him change and grow into a bigger man – and it’s all because of her!
New York tells Buddha he is smart and sexy. She also tells Tailor Made that he is sensitive, caring, and generous, and treats her like a princess. She’s also concerned that he may not have a backbone and she needs a strong man.
Buddha is cocky, arrogant and always pissing her off. But she can’t deny she’s drawn to him like a moth to a flame. What they have is fiery and passionate because he doesn’t bend to her needs. New York asks Buddha if he’s in love with her and presents the engagement ring that she was given by Tailor Made. She then asks Buddha if he is in love with her. Buddha lies and says he wishes he could tell her no but he can’t resist her … yes he is in love with New York. I’m so sure Buddha is full of crap. New York says that’s the difference between the two of them: Buddha doesn’t want to be in love with her but Tailor Made does.
Tailor Made did whatever he needed to do to win her heart: yeah, he spit on somebody, yeah, he got bitch-slapped. But guess what? He loves her!
You just can’t write this stuff!
