VH1 Puts Jim Ackerman Rumors to Rest

Last week I posted information about alleged racist comments made by  VH1 Senior VP Jim Ackerman, and I just want to clear everything up for our RealityRollCall.com readers.

I received communication from Brett Henne at VH1 Communications, and he assures me that Jim Ackerman did not make the derogatory comments about African American women that have been attributed to him and circulating on the internet for months now. I appreciate VH1 taking the time to contact me to clear this up. I have been assured that the remarks attributed to Mr. Ackerman is an “old rumor that started last summer that has no truth to it whatsoever.”
