It’s getting to the point where rappers and reality tv go hand in hand. The latest rapper scheduled to have a reality show of his own is Luther “Luke” Campbell.
Campbell is well known as a member of the 2 Live Crew, a rap group that gained fame with it’s raunchy lyrics and infectious dance rhythms. The group scored a crossover hit in the 1990’s with the song, “Me So Horny“, which sampled Brass Construction’s “Firecracker” and an actress from the movie, Full Metal Jacket. The group followed up with a string of explicit, catchy dance hits, none of which could be played on the radio.
The reality show, titled Luke’s Parental Advisory, will follow the life of Campbell as he raises his children, runs his adult entertainment company and prepares for his wedding.
It would be great if they could do a crossover and have Rev Run performed the ceremony, but something tells me that’s not going to happen.
