Tonight’s results show takes us into the studio and gives us a peek into the performers’ preparations for the previous night’s show.

Chikezie is the first inducted into the Bottom Three, followed by Sayesha Mercado.  Chikezie makes sense in the Bottom Three, but Sayesha makes no sense.  She performed exceedingly well last night with “If I Was Your Woman,” so how she ends up in the Bottom Three before Ramiele Malubay or Brooke White or Kristie Lee Cook is beyond me.  But I digress.  Back to the show.

Kimberly Locke checks in and lets everyone know how participating in Idol has changed her life.  She now co-owns a restaurant outside of Manhattan and has lost about 40 pounds.  All because she decided to forego law school and try her hand at American Idol.  She performed a song from her second solo album, and she looked absolutely beautiful.

The third contestant sent to the Bottom Three was Jason Castro.  But almost immediately Jason was saved.  It turns out that he had the third lowest amount of votes last night.  So now we’re left with Chikezie and Sayesha.  At this time, I’m truly hoping that this whole thing is legitimate and at the very least Chikezie is sent home.  So many of the others deserved to be on the chopping block more than Chikezie and Sayesha, so this isn’t making any sense to me at all.  And ultimately, Chikezie is sent home tonight.

I thought Raymie Malubay (don’t know how to spell it) should have gone home… although I like her voice, she’s been pretty mediocre the past couple of weeks.

  2. Ken says:

I thought Sayesha Mercado took bigger risks the last two weeks than Chikezie, so I’m OK with the result.

  3. Elizabeth says:

There are only a couple of them (the David’s) that I care about so the rest of them can go in any order and it won’t bother me.

  4. Tiffany says:

I know… Chick Easy was pretty good, i thought.
