Thanks Comcast!

Yesterday I had a major beef with my internet provider, and wrote about it on Reality Roll Call. I want to post a follow-up to the situation.
First of all, I just want to say that my family have been Comcast customers for the better part of two decades, and until recently I have never had a problem with their service. They have always come when scheduled for service calls and resolved any issues by phone or in person. So when we had internet issues that were not getting resolved, despite assurances that they would be as soon as possible, it felt like we were in customer service hell.
Those issues were resolved today thanks to Mark C. and the other folks at Comcast who got involved and resolved our issues. I don’t know why whoever was supposed to come out repeatedly no-showed , and I’m sure that will be handled internally, but the tech who came out today was competent, efficient, accommodating and courteous. And you have to appreciate anyone who has to work outside in this dangerously hot weather.
Thanks to everyone at Comcast who got us back online, and restoring our opinion in your company.
