Larry Birkhead Cops Anna Nicole’s Panties for Dannielynn

Every daughter wants a big ol’ pair of Mom Bloomers to remember their mother by, right? I guess that’s what Larry Birkhead was thinking when he purchased two pieces of Anna Nicole Smith’s lingere for their baby, Danielynn.

To be fair, it’s not like he grabbed some cotton hi-rise briefs and a double-stitched support bra to memorialize his baby’s mama. It’s actually the pink bustier and a white negligee that she wore in a Playboy photo shoot. He picked both items up for a total of $2,800 at an auction that was held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Birkhead hopes that the items will help the young child to understand her mother’s story, when she is old enough to understand, of course. Anna Nicole achieved fame as a model who got her start in Playboy. She later went on to marry billionaire business J. Howard Marshall, who was 63 years her senior, and starred in her own reality show, The Anna Nicole Smith Show. She died on February 8, 2007 of an accidental drug overdose.
