“16 & Pregnant: Life After Labor” Finale Special Hosted By Dr. Drew Pinsky Set To Air On Thursday, July 23 At 10PM ET/PT
Reflecting on one of the most controversial and thought-provoking topics, MTV President of Programming Tony DiSanto announced today that after only 3 episodes aired, the network is picking up a second season of the captivating series “16 and Pregnant.” In addition, MTV will also air “16 and Pregnant: Life After Labor” finale special, hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, on Thursday, July 23rd at 10PM ET/PT. “16 & Pregnant” can currently be seen on Thursdays at 10PM ET/PT.
The series follows the lives of teenage girls for 5-7 months as they navigate the unfamiliar territory and uncertainty of being pregnant. MTV captured every moment and reaction in real time, including several of the births and how the young mothers and fathers dealt with new parenthood. The series tackles a variety of issues including marriage, adoption, attending school and dealing with gossip. Cameras continued to follow the teens for a significant amount of time after they gave birth to document how they coped with taking care of their infants in addition to balancing adult responsibilities with teenage life.
The “16 and Pregnant: Life After Labor” finale special, hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, will be an issue-driven forum on teen pregnancy. All six of the teen mothers profiled on season one of the series will participate in this event. Dr. Drew will discuss each girl’s episode, specific issues and challenges and update us on what’s going on in their lives now. This open discussion will provide a platform to address the controversial topics that were shown in season one: birth control, adoption, abortion, marriage, religion, gossip, finances, high school graduation and employment. During the show, Dr. Drew will field questions by members of the live studio audience, as well as select emails from viewers.

Listen, Im 19 with two children I was 18 when I had my second one, four days brfore my 19th birthday. Its hard taking care of children and growing up within 9 months. I have two babies by two diffrent dads, but my newest childs dad has taken care of my oldest as well when her father walked out. I go to an all girls pregnancy school girl from all the ages of 12 to 20 go there becasue they relize they need an education to get somewhere and be successful. The school is for pregnant teens and parent who have already had there children its alot of drama .The school is called The Chiles Academy, In daytona Beach, Fl located at 868 George W. Engram Boulevard w Daytona Beach, Florida 32114
phone number 386-322-6102 w FAX 386-258-4681 The principals name is Mrs furguson. I think you should host a season here at the Chiles academy They are taking a big responsability taking on a role of being a mother and dealing with dramma with the fathers and Getting and education and trying to be something in life and get somewhere cause a majority of these girls dont have there partners with them and they do everything its haard all the girls go through basically the same things but only diffrnet background and different outlooks in life its a wounderful school and the daycare is free just so we can get an education and the teachers they are so hard on us because they want to help and get us somewhere in life and they want us to graduate but I think you should do a season at the school, for real its real life, real dramma with students and teachers and baby daddies its crazy and a good life learning lesson for them teenagers that are out there thats might end up getting pregnant and if they look at the way our lifes are might open alot of eyes I mean a great amount of these girls dont have there parents or friends and families by our sides and its kind of sad when some of the girls dont have money clothes houses and the school is dedicated to help these girl with cloths, housing they help so mch and I think you should give them a call if you have any questions I attened but Im going to get my High school depolma this year and I think this can help you out and other teens out there that watch your show and I think its a wounderful oppurtunity for the girls at the school to open there eyes and relize what the staff do for us and have a little more respect for the staff and other girls and our children and make them relize what they are getting out of the school including myself. They need to know that they will be successful. Thank you and hopefully it will work out.
