Those of you who have been watching the BB11 live feeds (and if you don’t have them you are missing a lot) know that Chima said that she is a reporter, talking about some of the people she has interviewed while she shared drinks with the other hamsters.

What you may not know is that Chima Simone is an entertainment reporter who says in her public profile that she can be found at Hollyscoop:

But nothing could diminish her love for all things entertainment so she moved to Los Angeles where she has thrived vocationally and socially.

I’m not sure how I feel about an entertainment reporter participating in a reality show for profit, but after hearing about her courage in the face of life threatening brutality (which left her severely injured) I have a great deal of respect for her.

Update: Hollyscoop has stated that Chima hasn’t worked for them in over a year.

    I couldn’t have said it better myself. She has really become hard to watch because of her hateful demeanor.

    I think watching her is just awful. Her cacking, and constant laughing at everything she herself says. Her constant primping.

    What rape victim waishes someone else would get raped? (her comment about wishing Russell would get raped in prison)

    What person who is race sensitive calls someone else a terrorist because of his birth coubtry?

    What rape victim makes it a mission to get a man to hit her intentionally? That’s just disturbing psychologically
    .
    She calls several of the men in the house mysogonists, and then rants that she wants only girls in the house and a girl only alliance.

    No…I really do not like her as a player or as a human being.
