Big Brother 11 Week 2 Veto Spoilers

Things this week have been pretty uneventful in the Big Brother house this week. The nominees were predictable and even the veto winner was somewhat predictable. Going by the house guests’ conversations, the veto competition was just a crap shoot, and the luckiest person turned out to be Jeff. But, nobody really cared that he won since he was just a “filler”,and the real target was Laura.

For about 12 hours after the competition it looked like Ronnie might try and backdoor Russell, which actually would have made things fun. He had even gotten to the point where Chima, Kevin, Lydia, and Natalie was on his side. They all deemed him as a powder keg ready to blow up on somebody, and the cowards didn’t want it to be them. Surprisingly, Ronnie had a good reason to want to see MMA man gone. Russell had been hanging out with Jeff, Jordan, Casey and Laura for the majority of the week talking crap about Ronnie.

Lucky for Russell, Ronnie’s fear of him caused him to continuously ask his alliance if they had his back.  Eventually he asked in the vicinity of Jessie, who in turn spat out a few bad analogies and talked in circles for about what felt like forever, until Ronnie started questioning his own reasons for putting up what Jessie called a “powerful” ally.  Once they called Russell up to the HoH and forced him to promise that  he wouldn’t target Ronnie (in front of their whole witnessing alliance), Ronnie felt safe for the time being. Then, with the option of Russell off the table, Ronnie replaced Jeff with Jordan and told her that she was definitely safe.

It’s easy to see what Ronnie’s doing with his HoH. He wants to ensure his safety, but at  he also wants to get closer to the “off-beats.” A lot of his meetings have been with Chima, Lydia, and Kevin. Natalie often shows up, but its clearly out of paranoia. It’ll be interesting to see when that alliance falls apart and Ronnie decides to take out Jessie and the rest of the athletes, because I doubt that Jessie will make the first move since he’s scared of the repercussions.
