Chef Gordon Ramsay is bringing MASTERCHEF (working title), a new culinary competition series based on the smash hit U.K. and Australian format, to FOX. MASTERCHEF (working title) will take wannabe chefs who simply cook as a hobby and have absolutely no experience in the food industry and attempt to turn one of them into a MasterChef.
Contestants on MASTERCHEF will be put through the paces with various challenges as they compete head-to-head to create delicious dishes. The series will serve as a unique platform for people from all walks of life who want to follow their dream of working as a professional chef. These everyday at-home cooks will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to show their passion and excitement for food as they are put to the test and judged by world-renowned chefs.
“MASTERCHEF has already become a cultural phenomenon in the U.K. and Australia, breaking ratings records in two of the world’s biggest markets,” said Mark Koops and Howard T. Owens, Managing Directors of Reveille. “We’re excited to work with FOX to replicate that success while bringing a fresh, new U.S. spin to this proven format.”
Chef Ramsay will challenge and coach the amateurs all the way to the finish line. However, known for his explosive outbursts, he won’t be afraid to tell the chefs the cold, hard truth about their cooking along the way.

All Real World fans know that once The Real World/Road Rules Challenge ends it’s time to gear up for another season of the strangers who find out what it’s like when they stop being polite and get real.
This weekend The Washington Post did a piece on The Real World: DC cast, who vacated the city October 13th, after spending the summer together and contributing to a better world while working at places like The Human Rights Campaign and Rhino Bar. It sounds like each castmate will had their own separate job while working in DC, something that I can’t remember happening since the show was in its infancy.
Here’s a tour of the house, and a look at the cast:

On September 5, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and celebrity volunteer Clint Black traveled to Daviess County, KY to tell Steve and Melissa Mattingly that their current home, a small single-wide trailer, will be replaced by a newly constructed home built in just seven days. This episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” airs SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
Country music superstar Clint Black will be the celebrity volunteer to “Get on the Bus” for this build.
Two years ago, Steve Mattingly was responding to a fire call at a neighborhood home, where he was asked to direct traffic around the site. Steve’s wife, Melissa, was driving by the fire when disaster struck: Steve was hit full speed by a car that didn’t see him. An EMT herself, Melissa immediately got out of her car and ran to her husband to give him care. Steve suffered multiple injuries, brain damage and amnesia. To date, he has had seven surgeries to try to repair the damage. Most of his problems with pain, balance and memory are irreparable, and he will probably never be able to work a full-time job again. Although Steve, 41, has regained his ability to walk and retains his humorous personality, his family knows his life has changed forever. They live in a small, 700-square-foot crumbling trailer, and Melissa, 38, is now the sole wage earner. They cannot afford to fix the home, which they also share with their growing daughters, Alana, 12, and Madison, 11. Now it’s up to Ty and the gang to give this family who have endured such hardship some comfort in a peaceful new home.
Show designers for this episode are Ty Pennington, Michael Moloney and Didiayer Snyder.
