Reality Roll Call

Congratulations are in order for Larissa “Bootz” Aurora because she is in the motherly way. She has posted an announcement on her MySpace page:

Sometime earlier this year Comedy Central did a Roast for Flavor Flav, star of reality show Flavor of Love, and participant in The Surreal Life and Strange Love, and some other totally embarrassing sitcom. Comedian Kat Williams was the host of the roast, and he has been doing a bit recently where he talks about the overt racism and Flav’s take on it.

This video has strong language and liberal use of the N-word, but it is funny. Especially if you saw the roast, which was also funny.

Here’s a preview of VH1’s summer reality show, I Love Money, which features a lot of the folks who have amused us on Rock of Love, Flavor of Love and I Love New York. Although there are a few hook-ups, the goal is to be the last man or woman standing at the end of the series, and get paid for all your hard work and scandalous behavior.

Finally, VH1 has come up with a spinoff of their “love” reality shows that totally throws the, “Are you here for me?” question out the window. This summer the cable network will be launching their new show, “I Love Money.”

Honestly, we all knew that everyone on Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I Love New York was not there for love. It was always a joke when Flav or New York would suddenly suspect that a contestant was not “there for them”, because everyone was there to boost their careers, or at least get recognized on the street and asked to host parties.

According to Variety.com, former contestants of Flavor of Love, Rock of Love and I Love New York will be competing in a series of reality show competitions, not for fake tv love, but cash prizes. The show has already been filmed, and the casting special is set to air on July 6th, and the series will debut on July 13. Carmelo Anthony’s baby’s mama and VH1 Flavor of Love reunion host, Alani “La La” Vasquez will host the show.

We all remember Saaphyri as the winner of Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School and also as the girl who beat up another Flavor of Love contestant over a bed in season 2. But I think the thing that stands out the most is how she offered the girl she beat up some lip chap as they waited to tell Flav who started the fight.

Charm School graduate and winner Saaphyri Windsor will finally get a chance to compete for Flava Flav’s affection when Flavor of Love 3 airs next month.

Those of you who remember Saaphyri from the previous installment of Flav’s reality show will remember that she never even made it to the first elimination as she beat up a fellow contestant over the claim of a sleeping area. Saaphyri learned the error of her ways when she won Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School, and she is ready to go back to VH1’s house of insanity and depravity to win Flava Flav’s heart.
