Usher Comes to America’s Best Dance Crew Tonight

Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew – will up the ante on Season Five star power when multi-platinum superstar Usher challenges the crews this Thursday, March 18th, at 10p.m. ET/PT. The Grammy(R) Award-winning and LaFace/Jive Recording artist triple-threat will appear in personalized video messages to ask the remaining five crews to incorporate his renowned and trailblazing choreography into their routines as they perform to his smash hits. Crews will “usher” in their hottest performances to date as they dance to Usher club anthems that include “Yeah!” and “Love In This Club,” in addition to his new single “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” from his upcoming March 30th album release, Raymond v Raymond. The Usher challenge continues the show’s tradition of producing episodes dedicated entirely to the music of exceptional performers such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonc, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Missy Elliott.

Shane Sparks Defends Molestation Allegations

America’s Best Dance Crew judge and former So You Think You Can dance choreographer Shane Sparks is defending himself against child molestation charges filed against him last week. Sparks, who was arrested on Friday and charged with 8 counts of felony child molestation, which allegedly occurred in 1994 with one of his former dance students.

Sparks was released on bail last night and is now working on proving that the charges leveled against him are false, and merely an attempt at extortion. E! News spoke with Mr. Sparks’ attorney, Steve Meister, who released this statement:

“Shane Sparks is innocent, he knows it and soon the world will know it. We are going to fight this tooth and nail. It’s a bogus accusation that reeks of opportunism and exploitation. The timing is beyond suspicious, and this whole thing stinks to high heaven. We are going to fight to clear his name, and we are going to succeed.”

America’s Best Dance Crew Is Coming to MTV

Last week, we told everyone about Dance Justice, a new reality show that MTV has waiting in the wings, that sounds like a combination of The People’s Court and You Got Served. And for those of you who don’t think you will tune in to watch small claims court cases settled on the dance floor, you can always tune in to watch Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew!

The show will be hosted by Mario Lopez, of Saved by the Bell, and Dancing With the Stars fame, and the judges will be Shane Sparks from So You Think You Can Dance and JC Chasez, most famously known as a member of N’Sync.
