Cast Mate Who Goes to Rehab During The Real World Goes Back to Rehab on VH1

You may remember the then popular Joey Kovar as the cast mate from The Real World: Hollywood as the likeable weightlifter with the substance abuse problem who went on a drug and alcohol abuse binge, and terrorized his housemates. The last we saw of him, he had cleaned up his act, but he is scheduled for VH1’s Celebrity Rehab 3, along with some other familiar faces:

VH1 has once again partnered with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a third season of the hit reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. The series, consisting of eight one-hour episodes, is slated to premiere in early 2010.Similar to the first two cycles, the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center. The show will follow Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time), Heidi Fleiss, Dennis Rodman, Mindy McCready (country music singer), Lisa D’Amato (America’s Next Top Model), Mike Starr (Alice in Chains), Kari Ann Peniche (ex-Miss United States Teen) Joey Kovar (Real World Hollywood), and Tom Sizemore.

The series will chronicle the patients’ intensive 21-day program with both group and one-on-one therapy and non-traditional therapies like art and music. Returning to the show to help Dr. Drew are drug counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague who have each spent years on both sides of the rehab fence. Dr. Drew is also bringing in some additional prominent physicians to help him give the patients supplementary one-on-one care.

Real Chance of Love’s Cornfed is dating Real World’s Nick

It didn’t take long for Cornfed from Real Chance of Love to get over “taking it slow” with Real. As a matter of fact, way before the reunion show aired, things didn’t seem quite right. Doing some MySpace snooping revealed that her supposed boyfriend Real was number 5 on her friends list. That’s not how you treat the love of your life.

Who was at the top of the friends list? Nick Brown from Real World Hollywood. And she is number one on his list too. Those of you who have short memories may need to be reminded that Nick was a replacement for the amusingly unpleasant Greg Halstead.

But I couldn’t write a post based on MySpace friends list ranking. I needed concrete evidence, and I think that this picture confirms my suspicions.

Real World Hollywood’s Nick On The Tyra Banks Show

Anyone that watched Real World Hollywood knows that Nick was the replacement roommate when Greg Halstead got kicked off the show. You may also remember that he wanted to be host of his own show. Well, he’s not quite there yet, but he is on a talk show, which is a step in the right direction. MTV Puts This Season’s Real World Out of It’s Misery With a Marathon and Live Reunion Show

The most disappointing season of MTV’s The Real World will be put to rest on July 9th. Is it just me, or did this season go from being one of the most interesting to a hot mess in a matter of weeks? And Will…WTF? Wednesday night’s show completely annihilated his character. Everything he did on that night’s show was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, and passively destructive on so many levels. From kissing his roommate (not an interesting storyline, because you could see it coming from a mile away), to blowing a freaking “kiss” way out of proportion; the cowardly email, followed-up by the stupid-ass phone call to Janelle, the foursome with Dave and those marginally attractive girls, and the fake crying manipulation; the whole thing was beyond immaturity. I would have rather seen Greg be Greg than to watch this kid expose this aspect of his personality. At least Greg was entertaining. But Will is still cute as hell.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, if you’re not doing anything on the Fourth of July, you can catch one of my favorite Real Worlders, Coral Smith, as she hosts The Real World Marathon from 11 am to 6pm, giving her opinions of the show in the way only Coral can. Also passing through will be Wes from RW Austin, Katie from RR Quest, Frank from RW Las Vegas, Brooke from RW and Paula Walnuts from RW Key West. Then, after the July 9th finale, the gang gets together one last time for the very first live Real World reunion, to tie up loose ends and deliver parting shots, and hopefully show some love to one another. No word on where they will be having the reunion show, but I am pretty sure it won’t be in “Blackville.”

We all know Brianna from the current season of Real World as the ex stripper aspiring to make it in the music business. Well since the taping of her season has ended Brianna has been working hard to get her music career off the ground. She has just released her first EP which you can find on Itunes.

Real World Hollywood’s Joey Kovar To Appear Energy Night Club

Tomorrow night  June 26th, Joey Kovar from The Real World Hollywood will be appearing from 10:30pm – 1:30am at Energy Night Club. All you people in Stony Park, IL or surrounding cities come out and show him some love. The club is located at 3815 West Lake Street in Stony Park, IL. You have to be 17 to enter and 21 to drink.

Real World’s Greg Haldstead Says His Piece (With Video)

Those of you who have been checking outThe Real World Hollywood probably have formed a very concrete opinion of some of the roommates, especially the winner of the internet casting competition, Greg “Prety Boy” Halstead. One thing for sure, when it comes to how the house mates feel about their tall, vain, companion, they are not on the fence. Some of them seem to hate him, while others seem to hate him more.
