Kate Gosselin on Dancing With the Stars?

Lisa Stanley, co-host and entertainment reporter of KEARTH 101’s morning show in Los Angeles, has learned that Kate Gosselin is under a shroud of security at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel, rehearsing her dance steps in her suite with no children to be seen. The official announcement coming Monday morning will reveal that she is one of this season’s line-up for DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Marie Osmond’s Son Commits Suicide

Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son Michael Blasil leaped to his death from his Los Angeles apartment on Friday. Police recovered a suicide note in his apartment.  Blosil had struggled with depression for several years, and was admitted rehab in 2007. He was currently enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Blosil’s mother Marie Osmond is a member of the famed musical Osmond family, as is best known for “The Donny and Marie Show,” which she co-hosted with her brother Donny. She was more recently a contestant on the ABC show, “Dancing With the Stars.”

Ambre Lake of Rock of Love 2 to Host Dame Nation Concert

Chicago Girls Rock (CGR) is dedicated to showcasing upcoming and established female rockers on the Chicago music scene. Today, CGR continues its mission to create awareness and exposure opportunities for these artists by signing Ambre Lake of VH1’s “Rock Of Love 2 w/ Bret Michaels” to host Dame-Nation, an (8 hour) concert event being held on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at the historic Portage theater located at the famous (6 corners) here in Chicago, IL.

“We feel Ambre Lake is a perfect choice to host the Dame-Nation concert” says Eric Sanchez, a spokesman for Chicago Girls Rock. He continues “Ambre Lake is a native Chicagoan. She’s a strong, confident and talented woman who jumped at the opportunity to be here and support our event. We feel lucky to have gained such a fantastic host, who has expressed to us a very real and sincere desire to help.”

The “Dame-Nation” concert hosted by Ambre Lake will open with a performance from drum prodigy Hannah Ford. This rock and roll assault will be followed by musical performances from Chicago’s own Whiskey Blonde, High Gloss Black, Sage 4, F.H.O.D., Losing Scarlet and Deadmanswake. There will even be a special “extra” performance from Chicago’s own Pain-kurst Girls; a visually stunning performance troupe.

Spokesman Eric Sanchez also added, “Even though Ambre Lake has been working on many film and television projects she has still made herself available to perform and promote locally before the event. To think that Ambre could be taking a vacation, but has instead chosen to get so involved really shows that with all her success and fame she is still very much in touch with her roots here in Chicago”.

Big Brother 10 Alum: “I’m an Adult Film Model”

After a while reality show seasons start to run together, and unless you’re a fan of a particular person you tend to forget who’s from what season, and why you cared about them to begin with. Now I’m not saying Steven Daigle, the gay rodeo champion from “Big Brother 10” was forgettable but, he’s made sure that he wouldn’t sink into the “pits of the forgotten house guests” that usually befalls anyone evicted in the first four weeks of CBS‘ voyeuristic summer phenomenon. How did he do that, you ask? Well, he’s gone the route of gay porn star. Sure he doesn’t call himself  a porn star; he’s chosen to call himself an “Adult Film Model,” but it’s a tomato/ tomahto situation, though one title is clearly classier.

From G’s to Gents Contestant Arrested for Beating His Infant

Markice Anthony Moore, a contestant on the MTV reality show From G’s to Gents was arrested last week for brutally beating his infant daughter.

Moore, who also goes by the name of  “Kesan”, turned himself in to Cobb County, GA police in connection with the beating of his one year old daughter last August.

Police were contacted when the child’s mother came to pick her up from a visit with Mr. Moore, and  noticed her child was severely injured. According to police reports, the infant girl suffered from two broken wrists, a broken leg, fractured ribs, and bruises on her head, face, chest and back . After a five-month investigation, police determined that Moore had inflicted the injuries to his baby.

For the Love of Ray J’s Danger Loses Custody of Her Baby

For the Love of Ray J contestant Monica “Danger” Leon has had her newborn infant taken away from her by Child Protective Services in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.com.

Danger, who gave birth to the baby just last fall, was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in December, after shaving her head after a dispute with the baby’s father, Gabriel Cannon. She was treated for post-partum depression for one week, and released.

Last week, Child Protective Services took the baby away from Danger, and placed the child in custody of the father, citing the behavior that led to her psychiatric hospitalization.

Last week there was a hearing regarding the case, but for now the baby remains in custody of  Mr. Cannon.

Constantin Maroulis Does Reality Show Dating, to the Chagrin of His People

American Idol contestant and Broadway star Constantin Maroulis has signed on to do a reality TV dating show, even though his management is rumored not to approve.

The show, called Empire State, will feature life in New York City, something that the singer knows a lot about. On the CW reality show he will be dating newly divorced socialite Tinsley Mortimer.

The problem is this: people in both celebrities’ camp think doing “staged reality” is bad idea. For those of you who don’t know, “staged reality” is the fakest of fake reality television. I like to think of it as a work of fiction performed without a script. Think of “The Hills”. Now you get the picture.

You see, Constantin and Tinsley aren’t really dating. This is a created storyline, and it is reported that Tinsley is telling her friends that it’s fake. Also, sources have quoted Maroulis’ management, saying that they wish he was involved in  “more respectable projects.”

No offense to you all who aspire to make a career out of reality television performances.

Khloe Kardashian is Pregnant…Oh, Never Mind

Recently, Mrs. Lamar Odom aka Khloe Kardashian was ready to announce her impending motherhood to all of the world. Khloe, one of the stars of the E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” recently thought that she was pregnant when she tossed her cookies during a Cupcakes photo shoot. She went out and bought a pregnancy test, which confirmed that she was pregnant. However, a few days later she started her period, which meant that she actually wasn’t pregnant.

Okay, it’s not an interesting story, or even news for that matter. But somebody out there gives a damn about what Khloe is doing, and I have just done my part to inform you.

Shane Sparks Defends Molestation Allegations

America’s Best Dance Crew judge and former So You Think You Can dance choreographer Shane Sparks is defending himself against child molestation charges filed against him last week. Sparks, who was arrested on Friday and charged with 8 counts of felony child molestation, which allegedly occurred in 1994 with one of his former dance students.

Sparks was released on bail last night and is now working on proving that the charges leveled against him are false, and merely an attempt at extortion. E! News spoke with Mr. Sparks’ attorney, Steve Meister, who released this statement:

“Shane Sparks is innocent, he knows it and soon the world will know it. We are going to fight this tooth and nail. It’s a bogus accusation that reeks of opportunism and exploitation. The timing is beyond suspicious, and this whole thing stinks to high heaven. We are going to fight to clear his name, and we are going to succeed.”
