Some people worry about blowing that big $500,000 payload that they get from winning the reality show Big Brother on something stupid, so they invest it. Or they buy a business, or start a business or non-profit. Or, like an idiot, they use it to fund their drug dealing. Big Brother 9 winner Adam Jasinski was arrested in Boston for possession of oxycodone pills with the intent to sell.
Police say that he was in possession of almost 2,000 pills when he caught a plane from the airport at his home in Florida, headed to Logan airport. He then met a man who had previously been arrested for dealing drugs at the airport and they then drove to a strip mall to complete the transaction. It was there that he was arrested by the DEA.
Mr. Jasinski said that he had been using the money he won on Big Brother to fund his drug dealership, and had been selling up and down the East Coast. He was arrested in 2004 for possession of 20 pounds of marijuana. Check out this video from MyFoxBoston to see footage of his most recent arrest:

Big Brother 9’s Adam May Not Be Who He Says He Is

The producers at BB9 may be in embroiled in a bigger controversy than they first suspected because of Adam Jasinki’s boneheaded “retard” comment. Under further investigation, it seems that Jasinki misrepresented his position with The United Autism Foundation, according to whizbangblog.com
Jasinki’s statement about “helping the retards” stirred up a lot of people, and when people get riled up in the 21st Century, they take it to the internet. And upon further research, it seems that Adam is not a PR manager for the non-profit organization. As a matter of fact, by the time he entered the Big Brother house, he hadn’t worked for them for quite a while. And when he was employed by the company, it was not as a public relations manager; he was a salesperson who worked in their call center. Yes, he was a cold-calling telemarketer, soliciting donations.
So, now people are calling the producers background checking skills on the carpet. If the people on the internet can find this information out, was there some reason Big Brother didn’t take the time? Probably because they were looking for the next Evel Dick to boost their ratings during the writer’s strike. This guy reminds me of the annoying character that Joe Piscopo used to play on Saturday Night Live in the 1980’s (”I’m from Joisey! Are you from Joisey?”) . This guy is no E.D.
