Big Brother 10 Week 5: Nomination Spoilers

I don’t even think i really needed to post this, but Libra and Keesha were nominated for eviction this week. Libra, the main antagonist and conspirator in the whole Jessie eviction, is Michelle’s main target. Keesha too, has done her fair share of arguing, but she is merely just caught in Michelle’s cross-hairs by mere association with Libra.
Today the luxury/food competition was played. The current house guests seem to have really gotten a kick out of the alumni showing up to help out with the competition. Although we weren’t able to see the competition on the live feeds, there was quiet a bit of talk about it when it was over. Apparently, the alumni cheered when Michelle went up for her turn in the comp, and in stark contrast fell dead silent when Libra took the stage. Since the comment was made by Michelle I’ll assume the alumni were probably more vocal when she took her turn and just clapped when Libra went up. I don’t think they’d blatantly show that they didn’t like somebody by not clapping at all.
When the veto competition takes place I’ll be back to let you guys know who won. In the meantime, head on over and read what BB8’s Zach thinks of the current developements.
Bye Bye Brian: Big Brother Week 1 Eviction

Tonight Brian was the first evicted house guest of the season and I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. I know I said he’d become a problem if left in the house too long, but him leaving this early really sucks. One could argue that the best player this season is already out of the house. Then again, if he was the “best” player he wouldn’t have played himself into a corner that ultimately led to his eviction. But all’s well that ends well, because in about 4 weeks we’ll forget he was even there, as we so often do with the first evicted house guest.
I’d like to say congratulations to Jessie for being the first person to “win” HoH this season (it was given to Jerry). Ever since I decided that he was a loser he’s been proving me wrong, winning every competition that he’s been allowed to compete in. For his own sake, he should lose the veto competition because if he wins he’ll automatically be viewed as the “big threat” and he’ll be a target next week.
I’m sure Renny isn’t thinking that far ahead, since she’s pretty much a shoe-in for the first nominee this week. The question is; who will she be sitting next to on the block? The smart choice would be either Dan or Angie, just because they were close to Brian and in nominating one of them, he’d stay in the rest of the houses good graces. Once Jessie makes his decision, I’ll let you guys know, so be sure to check back often.
Big Brother 10 Update: A Loser No More- Jessie Wins Veto

To prove that his muscles weren’t just for show Jessie went out and won the power of veto. Also, the Veto Ceremony was today and naturally Jessie decided to save himself, forcing Jerry to throw Brian up on the block. This might be the first time that somebody will be “back doored” at the first eviction ceremony. From what I can tell, Brian pretty much double-talked himself onto the block while trying to put a target on Jerry’s back next week.
Dan is obviously so freaked out by his “right hand man’s” nomination that he isn’t sure whether he should scramble to make friends, just sit around and sulk until his friend is voted out. Right now, he seems to have chosen the latter, even telling Brian he had his vote. I’m sorry, but if I see somebody who is clearly disliked by the rest of the house on the block and about to be evicted in the first week, I’m getting as far away from them as I can. I don’t care what kind of deal we made on day one, I don’t know you, and I will deny ever speaking to you. But hey, that’s just how I’d play the situation.
I think think this is the time for Renny to play it low key. Brian as already rubbed everyone the wrong way by trying to work them against each other. As long as she stays out of everyone’s way and keeps her voice down she should be safe.
Side note: In light of Brian’s imminent departure it seems like Dan, Angie and Steven are forming some alliance. I don’t see how this can go in any positive direction. If anything it’ll end with Angie being sent home next week.
Well, that’s all the news there is right now. I’m gonna continue to watch the feeds in the hopes that somebody get iced tea dumped on their head.
