The Real World 22 is currently casting, and all over the country young adults  are getting their votes on the website, sending in their applications or going to the open calls. Tens of thousands will try to get on, only 7 will have a chance to get drunk and make out in the hot tub. Washington, DC, July 11, 2008 –(PR.COM)– Paul Wharton of MTV fame will host local searches for the Tyra Banks hit reality show “America’s Next Top Model” on Saturday, July 12th from 2pm to 5pm at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, and July 13th from 2pm to 5pm at Potomac Mills Outlet Center. These will be the local casting call sites for what is one of the most popular reality shows on television.

The dynamic celebrity host, Paul Wharton, can currently be seen in a hot new model series on TV Land called, “She’s Got The Look.” In addition, he is also cast as the style expert on TV One’s “Makeover Manor.”

He takes that role to new heights in late August on TV One when they go live covering the Democratic National Convention on their show entitled “Throwdown In Denver.” He is also collaborating with The CW Washington launch of TrenDC, an online and on-air blog depicting Paul living the “fabulous life.”

DETROIT – April 7, 2008 – Gas Station TV (www.gstv.com), the industry leader in digital away-from-home television, today launches the search for the face of the GSTV Network. The “Gas Station TV’s Wanna Be A BroadcaSTAR™” contest will find and award one U.S. resident with a hosting position on a recurring national broadcast lifestyle segment and a cash prize.

The contest kicks off today with a national call for online entries as well as a live “American Idol-like” casting call in Detroit, GSTV’s home market, on April 12. Aspiring “BroadcaSTARs” may submit auditions online at the BroadcaSTAR homepage at www.beabroadcaSTAR.com until the May 4 deadline for entries. Then, viewers will be able to cast their votes online on the BroadcaSTAR homepage from May 12 – June 30. The winning BroadcaSTAR – to be announced July 17 – will be presented with a $2,500 cash prize and featured as the host of a new recurring lifestyle segment on the GSTV Network.

Its that time again. I know what you’re thinking..”Already? Didn’t we just do this 4 months ago?” The answer is yes, you did do this 4 months ago. But due to the writers strike we’re getting 2 seasons of Big Brother this year with a 2-3 month break in between. TV Land is planning a mature version of Top Model, with the model being over the age of 35. The show, called She’s Got the Look, will debut next spring, and one of the 20 models that will be competing will win a modeling contract with Wilhemena Models.
