Eric Nies The Amazing Dog Saving Man

MTV Real World and Confessions of a Teen Idol star Eric Nies(Real World: NY Season 1) can now add hero to his resume. TMZ reports that during  recent trip to Bear Mountain in upstate New York Eric saved a puppy who fell through thin ice while chasing a flock of geese. Apparently when Eric saw the puppy, named Sugar Ray, struggling in the water he immediately went into hero mode,  stripping down to his birthday suit and diving into the freezing water.

Both Sugar Ray and Eric are reported to be fine, although there’s no word on the shrinkage they may be suffering as a result of the event.
