Reality Roll Call

On the season finale of Flipping Out on Bravo, Jeff is looking for a replacement for Chris, and he is determined to make sure he chooses the right person for the job. Check out his interviewing technique:

On tonight’s episode of Flipping Out on Bravo, Jeff gets into a conflict with his painter over the shoddy job he’s doing on the house. From the sound of things, Jeff knows that this man does bad work because this is not a new issue of contention for them. It eventually comes out that Jeff continues to hire this painter because he’s cheap.

Just goes to show, you get what you pay for.

The thing that many people don’t realize when they watch Flipping Out on Bravo is that Jeff Lewis has his finger on the pulse of many of the nation’s problems. In tonight’s episode he tells Chris that he will be working on Memorial Day, and all the rest of the holidays this year. If we all worked every holiday, think of how much we would all get done!

And this whole real estate slump could be fixed, not by bailing out Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, but with psychic intervention. In this clip he brings a psychic to Valley Oak to help the property sell:

On Bravo’s Flipping Out tonight, Jeff makes friends with some deer, and stumbles upon the presence of rats in a basement. What tipped him off? Apparently, the smell of rats and about 2 million rat turds in the basement.

The most interesting about this clip (and the least disgusting), is where he points out a bit of rat evidence to the owner of the house and says, “See the 35 feces in there?” Who counts rat poop?

When I first saw Jeff Lewis on Bravo’s Flipping Out, I thought to myself, “This man is crazy as hell”. You know, the kind of crazy that is amusing at a distance, but drives you screaming from the room out of frustration when you’ve been exposed too long to it. That kind of crazy.

Then, I began to realize the simple truth: Jeff Lewis is wise. Wise beyond my understanding. Wise beyond your comprehension. We could all learn a lot from him.

Take this clip, for example. Once we get pass the nerve-wracking OCD, we learn a very important question about the color “white”.
