Big Brother 11 Week 10 – Michelle Gets Outsted and Final HoH Competition Spoilers

So,, Michelle goes bye bye. I can’t say I didn’t see it coming, but still her walking out of the house gave me yet another sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. As happy as I was that Jeff decided to get Russell two weeks ago I can’t help but think “what if?” What if Jeff kept Russell and he stayed true to his word? Would the final four have been Jeff, Russell, Jordan, and Michelle? We’ll never know, but still it doesn’t hurt to dream.
Now, let us take a look at our final three, Kevin, Jordo, and Natalie. Obviously they kept Jordan around because they feel they can beat her in any type of mind competition, and in endurance she’s not that great either. I hope that Jordan pulls out that competitive spirit that helped her to last longer than both Kevin and Natalie in the Graduation endurance competition.
Right now we’re about an hour into the competition and all three house guests are still going strong. So far there has been a torrential down pour, hurricane-like winds, and the log sped up. There was a moment when the log abruptly stopped and everyone nearly stepped off. The log had since then started back up, its rotation reversed so that the house guest have to walk backwards in order to stay on.
I’ll be updating this post as the competition develops so check back often.
Update 3 hours and 35minutes In
Jordan falls. The log stay still for a good 30 minutes before starting up again catching Jordo off guard and sending her to the ground. About three minutes after Jordan went inside Kevin and Natalie started discussing who would fall and it appeared that they decided Natalie would fall in 5 minutes. Almost immediately after they came that decision Natalie made Kevin promise to take her to final 2 and he did. He actually promised on everything he could possibly promise on so I’m inclined to believe he’ll keep her if he gets to make that choice. Either way Kevin wins stage one of the HoH.
Big Brother Week 7 – Bye Bye Lydia, Jeff Wins HoH

Tonight was a busy night on Big Brother 11. With Chima and Jessie gone from the house, the alliance that dominated the house for the last four weeks was decimated. The remaining three players of Natalie, Kevin and Lydia were desperate to stop the bleeding, hopefully by winning The Power of Veto and having either Kevin or Lydia taken off the block. Once they were off the block, the plan was to get Russell on the block and have his teammates back door him.
The problem was getting his alliance to see him as a threat and want him gone. In the television version, of Big Brother, Russell looked like he turned his back on Jeff by making a side deal with Michelle to go to the final two. In actuality, he has made deals with both Jeff and Michelle, but he is not “screwing anyone over” in his alliance at this point.
In the TV version, Kevin approaches Jeff and tells him that he wants to be down with him and shows how honorable he is by telling him that Russell is making all kinds of deals behind his back. This is the lie that is supposed to put the chink in the armor of the alliance. On TV it looks like Jeff has taken the bait.
In real life, Kevin’s plan worked only for a short time. The alliance all got together and figured out that Kevin was lying. Russell came clean about what he said to Michelle, and the issue was squashed. However, they didn’t let on to Kevin that they knew he was lying (hence, his conferencing with them before the veto ceremony, and his not knowing who to vote out when the they took no one off the block).
We are now waiting for the results of the HoH competition. Keep checking back to find out more.
Update: Jeff has won Head of Household.
Big Brother 11 Week 6 – Jordan is HoH!

Early this morning I let you all know that Chima “excused” herself from the game. This afternoon something else crazy happened: Jordan won HOH!
OnThursday’s show Julie let us know that it was going to be a double eviction, but I guess Chima’s exit sped everything along. Michele doesn’t seem too upset about her HoH reign being cut short either, as her nomination of Chima was the straw that broke the camel’s back and resulted in her leaving. I have to admit, the Coup D’etat shook this game up way more than I ever thought it would. This is the most exciting season since season 8 and I’m wondering what Evel Dick would do next if he was there.
PS: Now Lydia and Natalie are talking about quitting. Talk about poor sports. Soon as you aren’t in power you decide everyone is cheating and you want to quit.
Update: As a result of the competition, Lydia has gone off the deep end, and is trying to “pull a Chima” to get kicked out. Read more…
Big Brother 11 Week 6 Eviction and HoH Update

(Chris has evening classes for the next few weeks, so I will be filling in for him.)
Well, every thing went as expected tonight as far as the eviction and Coup d’etat goes. Jeff used his Wizard Power to remove Lydia and Russell from the block, and replaced them with Natalie and Jessie. Natalie gave a graceful “let me save my ass” speech, and Jessie removed his shirt to reveal a lame shirt with his picture on it and some self-promoting writing on it. His speech was so rambling and unproductive that Julie Chen eventually had to tell him to sit down so that the show could go on. And, in a vote of three to two he was kicked out of the Big Brother house. Lydia voted for Natalie (duh!), and Russell cast a strategic vote for Natalie. This way, if he makes it to the end, he can always tell Jessie that he voted for him to stay. Smart thinking, but I don’t think Russell is going to make it that far.
I just want to say that Russell is playing the game fairly intelligently. His downfall is that he flies off the handle way too much, and burns bridges because of it.
Chima said that she is going to speak to production because she feels that Jeff broke the rule of the Coup d’etat, by telling Russell that he would keep him safe. Unless Kevin is in production, I really don’t think they are going to be shaking in their shoes because she wants to have a few words with them.
And I am just waiting for Kevin to hit the bricks, because at first I thought he was a floater, and I was wrong. Floaters actions are not completely motivated by fear. If he thinks that Chima is thinking about keeping him in the long term, when she clearly said she wanted only girls to be in the game at the end, he is delusional.
Next was the Head of Household competition. It was one of those memory-themed competitions. To cut a long story short; Michelle emerged victorious. I like Michelle, but I am not sure what kind of game she is playing. This week will give everyone a clear view of her actual alliances.
Big Brother 11 Week 3 Live Show Recap

My hat is off to Casey. He definitely made good use of the Live Show, making sure the producers didn’t have a chance to alter anything he said. It’s really a shame he had to leave this week. I enjoyed his straight talking way, and how he always found a reason to interrupt the hamsters after saying he’d let them talk. Honestly, I would have kept him around for those two reasons, because you always knew where you stood with him. Oh well, he’s gone. So, let’s move right along.
Julie dropped two bombshells on us tonight. Predictably, she announced that the cliques are kaput, which got a few nervous smiles from some people, ie Jessie and Lydia. I thought their response was kind of odd since they weren’t in the same clique anyway.
The next bombshell was that the Coup d’ etat from All stars was back. You remember: the power that Boogie used to scare Chicken George into evicting Howie. I really think this is a nice touch if it goes to the right person:Jeff. Jordan and Jeff’s alliance has been dropping like flies since week one, and I think they are in need of a real pick me up. And I’m not sure that either of them will win the HoH Competition this week. Jeff is strong, but he’s also big and his size will definitely work against him when trying to sit on that little circle while holding up his weight. Jordan on the other hand. is on the smaller side, but I’m not sure if she’s strong enough mentally or physically to deal with the endurance aspect of the competition. I think this competition will come down to Natalie, Chima and my dark horse Lydia, with Natalie ultimately giving the competition to Chima because she had to be a “have not” for two of the three weeks they have been in the house.
If the feeds come back before the competition I’ll be sure to update you guys on whats going on. Don’t forget vote for JEFF to win the Coup D’ etat.
Big Brother 11 Week 3 Nomination Spoilers

First off I want to congratulate Russell for getting “mean guy” music on this week’s live show. When you get your own BB music, you’ve made the big time. Also, congratulations are in order to Jessie for winning his first HoH competition this season, and his 3rd overall stint as HOH in the game of Big Brother.
We saw on the live show that the house doesn’t like Ronnie so much. Well, the plan is, or should I say was to get rid of Ronnie this week, but ever since Jessie has won the HoH the plan has become less clear. Jessie, for whatever reason sees Ronnie as an asset, and Natalie feels sorry for how mean everyone was to him after they found he was a liar. Those facts make it a lot easier for the house’s plan to go on the back burner.
While the house guests aren’t being especially nice to Ronnie, there is something about the vibe that says the majority doesn’t feel like getting rid of Ronnie this week. With that said Jessie nominated Jordan and Michelle for eviction this week. That choice does fit in with the original plan to back door Ronnie, but it still remains to be seen if the person who wins veto will use it to remove one of the nominees. We’ll see what happens when the veto competition is played tonight or tomorrow.
Big Brother 11 Week 1 Veto Spoilers

As you probably already know Lydia and Chima were nominated for eviction, and just like any other season the crying and campaigning began. Lydia had a nervous break down and literally stopped pooping. She claims it was stress related, but I think it was just a masterful game play move. Chima on the other hand, just played it cool and continued being herself while periodically hinting that she’d like someone’s vote. Read more
Big Brother 11 Week 1 Nominees

Last night the feeds popped on and the game was already in full swing. In addition to being the first night of the feeds it was also nomination day, so naturally we got to listen in on some “game” talk right off the bat. Jessie chose to nominate Lydia from the Off-beat clique and Chima from the Brainiacs.
I think it was pretty predictable move, especially for somebody who has already played the game before. But one can’t help but wonder if the clique factor played any part in his choosing. The Athletes decides to nominate/pick on the nerds and off-beat/weird people seems pretty high-schoolish. But in all honesty after that initial observation the cliche’s pretty much end there.
So far the vote are split down the middle. I’d tell you who was voting for who but the votes seem to change every 15 minutes and always results in a tie. But the out of clique alliances for the time being are Lydia and Jordan (Popular). There has been some speculation that Laura of the Popular clique is down with the Athletes, and more specifically Jessie, but he and the rest of his clique vietmetly deny it. There are a few potential love connections so far..
1. Jessie and Lydia – She’s pursuing him pretty hard and she also had him blushing a lot last night as they cuddled in what use to be the spa room. She’s been telling people in the house that she wouldn’t normally go for a guy like Jessie, but something’s different about him. I’m not sure if the “different” thing about him is that he’s HoH and she feels that flirting with him will be in her best interest. Her attraction does seem sincere though.
2. Jessie and Natalie – This relationship comes off like a one-way crush. Natalie clings to Jessie like a puppy dog, which is why she’s campaigning to get rid of Lydia. It’s a very funny position for them to be in since Nat likes to go on about how she has a boy friend, but her jealously is apparent. Hopefully she doesn’t let that control her too much, because she already has the unfortunate habit of gloating at bad times, but I suspect that’ll change once their clique no longer has power.
3. Lydia and Jordan – I know its a bromance when guys are super close, but what is it when girls are always cuddling? Are they just lesbians? I think that’s pretty boring so if anyone has a word to describe it, let me know in a comment.
Once the Veto competion is played I’ll update you guys on who won.
The 11th Season Of Big Brother Kicks Off Tonight!

CBS’ summer social experiment Big Brother is back for another season. Tonight we learned that this time it’ll feature 12 original house guests who will be separated into cliques: popular, athletes, brainiacs, and off-beats. Each clique is made up of 3 house guests, and the rules are that if a member of your clique wins hOh the whole clique is safe from eviction for the week.
One of the many twists this season is the introduction of a past house guest into the game. The first competition was called “The Wedgie” and Julie let the house guests know that whichever clique won HoH would have a past house guest as a representative clique enter the game. The past houseguests were Brian(Season 10), Jessica (Season 8), Michael”Cowboy” (Season 5), and Jessie (Season 10). With Natalie of the Atheletes clique being able to withstand the wedgie(and occasional atomic wedgie) longer than any other house guest she won HoH and immunity for her clique, and as a result she unknowingly brought Jessie back in the house.
It’ll be interesting to see if Jessie comes in with the same attitude that rubbed so many people the wrong way last season, or if he decides to tone it down just a bit. Considering that he was at his worst last season while he was HoH we’ll be getting the answer to that question sooner than later.
