Big Brother 10 Players Fatal Mistakes, Part 2

September 16, 2008 by Faith W

With the season finale of Big Brother 10 tonight, I  think it’s appropriate for me to wrap up my Player’s Fatal Mistakes. Depending on what happens tonight, we’ll find out whether Dan or Memphis made a fatal mistake in their game play.

Michelle: Actually, this eviction  made the least sense to me. Michelle was actually a victim of Ollie’s stupidity.  She didn’t actually do anything, aside from break down into personal, irrational, paranoid strategies in the end.  But I do think that overall, she would have lasted longer had she not gotten into the “us versus them” mentality .

Ollie: Ollie spent way too much time letting his penis run his game .  For the most part, he let  April do everything, and when the time came to step up, he revealed that his game play was mad weak and foolish, son.  Once he found out that it was stupid to think that Dan was stupid enough to give him complete power, and Michelle was put on the block, he let the whole game get away from him .  Actually , even though Michelle was a casualty of the his deal, he should  have been happy with the reality that he was OK .  Time spent trying to save Michelle should’ve been spent trying to align himself with someone else.  And his temperamental outburst after falling for the okie doke took him completely out of his game, and sealed his fate.

Renny: Renny got to the point in the game where your survival depends on the numbers and your sheer ability to play the game.  Nothing more.  She couldn’t win the POV, and as a result she couldn’t save herself.

Keesha: Keesha did nothing wrong, and she got as far as she could get in the game .  Like many, she couldn’t save herself, and had to rely on people who didn’t have her ultimate  best interest at heart in the game.

And now it’s down to the last two, Dan and Memphis .  Like I said before, I respect the anyone who makes it to this point . It was a good season, it was a great cast.  And I wish both guys the best of luck tonight.  Who do I think will win it all? out of the two that are left, and the true Renegade is Dan.  He is definitely Butch Cassidy and Memphis is just his Sundance Kid .

It’s been a busy few days in the Big Brother house, with the dismissal of Michelle and Ollie. It’s always strange after double-eviction week, and for BB fans, it’s a little sad, because you know it’s just a matter of a couple of weeks until it’s all over.

Anyway, things were on shaky ground for a few days, and depending on who you are rooting for to win it all, it doesn’t look good.

Big Brother 10 House Guests MySpace/FaceBook Pages

As the seasons of Big Brother progress we begin to  grow accustomed to seeing the house guest everyday, if you have the live feeds. So when each week someone inevitably gets evicted from the BB house, we have to go through withdrawal. I imagine its similar to the feeling  the  paparazzi get when Lilo or Britney go into rehab. But now Big Brother fans won’t have to go through that withdrawal, because even after your favorite house guest is evicted you can continue to virtually stalk them via their FaceBook or MySpace page!

Don’t worry, if your favorite house guest doesn’t have MySpace page yet I’m sure they’ll create one when they leave the Big Brother or jury  house, and we’ll be here to give it to you when they do. For now, we’ll post fan pages of those that don’t have personal pages.

Jerry Is The Chosen One: Big Brother 10 Season Premiere

July 13, 2008 by Chris

The season starts like any season of Big Brother, with the house guests lined up silently in front of the Big Brother house. Then, not five minutes into show, Julie says the house guests are going to choose the HoH before they even enter the house. Immediately, I,  like the majority of viewers thought that Jerry

would make the best HoH at this point in the game. For one he’s old and…well, he’s  old and thereby not a threat.

Once the house guests started filing into the house, they quickly began to realize that Renny is crazy. But not in that wacky, do anything, Crazy James way; she’s crazy in that “Natalie please stop talking”, kind of way. After all of the greetings and pleasantries were exchanged, the house guests headed outside for their first food/luxury competition.

Outside in the backyard there were two VW Beetles hanging upside, down connected to two tracks. The house guests had to split up into two teams, while one person sat out in order for the teams to be even. Jessie the “100% natural body” chose to sit out in an attempt to make people think he wasn’t a threat, ya know, because he’s soooo huge and intimidating.

Every player on both teams had to  climb into their respective upside down cars, and pull themselves from one end of the track to retrieve a gas container. Then they had pull themselves all the way back to the starting point to let one person out with the gas container. They’d repeat that process until the last person in the car crossed the finish line with the gas container. The winning team got to eat food for the week, and the losing team got put on slop. The twist to the whole competition is that the last person in the car from the winning team would win one of two classic muscle cars(either ‘69′ Camaro or a ‘66 Mustang). After a quick game of rock, paper, scissors between Steven and Memphis, its decided that Memphis would be the last one in the car. About thirty seconds after that Memphis crossed the finish line giving the red team the victory,  winning himself a Camaro and giving everyone a valid reason for evicting him later in the game.

Once everyone got back in the house, Julie announced that Jerry had been chosen as the first HoH this season. Even though he only got 4 votes everyone seemed genuinely happy to see him win it. When the house guests finally got some time to soak in what just happened, Dan decided it was time build an alliance. He went to work on both Ollie and Brian recruiting them into his alliance. At first glance it seems like Dan is the leader, but if you look a little closer Brian is the one in charge. When all is said and done, Brian will play Dan and Ollie right out of the house if they let his influence grow  too much.

With that said, Brian has already worked his magic on Jerry by  getting him to nominate Renny and the super intimidating, 100% natural body building, non threat, reality show vet Jessie for eviction. Jerry said that both of them would self destruct and he is absolutely correct. Jessie’s desire to play down his size and keep a low profile might lead to him isolating himself, which could get him sent home. If he’s smart he’ll just buddy up to the guys and let Renny annoy her way out of the house. She comes on pretty strong, and I’m sure being around her 24/7 isn’t easy, and people may just vote her out because they are just tired of dealing with her.

If both nominees take cues from each other they’d have their best chance to stay in the house. Jessie just needs to pep up and Renny needs to turn it down a notch, and they’ll make the choice for the house guest a lot harder.

As usual I’ll keep you all posted if anything happens on the live feeds so check back often.
