“Western Semifinals and Finals” The semifinalists for “High School Musical: Get in the Picture” from the Western half of the United States, strangers until now, must dance, sing and work together to earn a spot as one of the series’ 12 finalists. However by the show’s end, only six from this group will be told by host Nick Lachey that they are moving on as finalists. “High School Musical: Get in the Picture” airs MONDAY, JULY 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The series runs Sundays and Mondays (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) for three weeks, and then continues Mondays (at 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) through mid-September.

Ok, so he said that he would not star in another show, especially not with girlfriend Vanessa Milano, but former boy bander Nick Lachey is all set to produce a performance based reality show for MTV.

The show is going to take place at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, which is Nick’s alma mater. According to  MTV executive Tony DiSanto, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, “The stories and relationships are all set to music that’s organic to what’s going on in the school and also performed by the kids.” What a coincidence! All my relationships with the people in my life are set to music too, but for an added touch of realism, I’ve added interpretive dancing. People in my life avoid me as a result.

According to DiSanto, the yet untitled show will be the latest groundbreaking format in unscripted television since Laguna Beach.
