Big Brother 10: Week 6 Veto Spoilers

With Renny’s nominations of Jerry, and April, there’s nobody in the house other than them or Ollie that would change the nominations if they won veto. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to see that that’s pretty bad odds for the nominees, at least a first glance anyway. If we run down the list of remaining house guests it looks like the nominees would have a pretty good chance of winning the veto…
Renny: She’s smart, but if it’s something extremely physical that requires speed, she’ll be a long shot to win it. All she’s won this season was the HoH competition.
Keesha: She’s a really good competitor, but she can’t seem to get over that hump that makes her a dominant force in competitions. If memory serves me right she only won HoH once.
Memphis: He’s a ticking time bomb in my opinion. He hasn’t won anything other than luxury items so far. But, when a luxury item is up for grabs he makes sure that he wins it. If he could apply that to the IMPORTANT competitions he could be a problem. There are some key questions we have to ask about him this week. Will he compete for veto? Will there be prizes that would distract him from the veto? Does he even care to win it? Who knows…
Dan: He likes to typically “throw” competitions in an attempt to make himself look less like a threat. I wonder if he is going to end up like Dr. Will and throw competitions so much that when he actually tries to win, he can’t.
Michelle: She has the ability to win this week, and definitely the motivation. There is a good chance that if one of the nominees were to come off the block, she’d be the replacement nominee. She’s one of those players that gets a break every once in a while, but more times than not she falls just short of victory.
Ollie: Let’s be real; he sucks. He is a nice enough guy, but when it comes to competitions he has proven to be totally useless. Maybe with his girl friend?…err showmance?…um bang buddy..ehh April in trouble he’ll turn into a new house guest that wins competitions.
April: She’s got enough confidence in herself to drive her to victory, but in her eyes she also has the “choke” factor. If she comes out with the win I wouldn’t be too shocked.
Jerry: Winner of the last two Veto competitions, Jerry is obviously the Big Brown of the competition, but I think just like Big Brown he’s due to have an upset.
After the smoke from the veto competition settled there was one man left standing, Dan! Seeing as we couldn’t see the competition I’m not sure how he came to win the veto. He might’ve won it outright, but with his history of “throwing” competitions, I think he fell backwards into it. It’s gonna be fun seeing if Jerry tries to talk Dan into using the veto him tonight, even though I don’t think his pride would let him. Also there isn’t any need for him to suck up to Dan since April is the house’s target.
The Countdown Begins – Big Brother 9 Veto Ceremony

Finally James is back on the block on a Sunday afternoon. For the past few weeks his been able to pull himself off the block by winning the power of veto. But its kind of hard to pull yourself down when you weren’t up to begin with and on top of that you didn’t win the power of veto.
Crazy James has had a good run and is arguably the best player this season and as you know if you followed the show in the past season, the best player rarely wins. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. Maybe James can work out some deal to save himself one last time. I guess we’ll see what happens on Wednesday nights shows when some one goes home.
If James does leave I see Sharon winning HoH this week. She is due for a win plus she has been floating through the game under the radar while her whole alliance was picked off. She needs to make a power move now or she’ll be checking out of the house next week.

James dodged a bullet once again on BB9, and that very same bullet knocked Josh out of the Big Brother house. On the bright side, the house has another opportunity to get rid of James this week. Adam won HoH and is the first repeat(single) HoH this season. Knowing that Adam and James are boys it’ll be interesting if he sticks with the plan and goes after him this week. I could see him going after Sharon and Sheila, but if he did Sheila would make him feel horrible for doing it. The best bet is to go after James because like I said before nobody will be able to beat him in the final two.

As we all know Sharon and Josh won HoH in dominating fashion on Wednesday night, at which point I said I hope Josh doesn’t let this power go to his head. Well, either he is just a jerk by nature, or the power actually went to to his head. I’m gonna say its a little of both since he was also a jerk when Amanda was around.
Anyway, before the HoH competition Josh threatened to slit Allison’s throat, or at least thats how the story Allison is spreading goes. I’m assuming this happened during the commercial break between the eviction and the start of the HoH competition, which is why no viewers actually got to see this threat. As of now I’m putting it in the same category as Amanda’s “Alex tried to molest me” claim because if it actually happened then BB would’ve stepped in and at least given Josh a warning of some sort.
When it came time to nominate couples for eviction, Josh and Sharon chose Matt and Natalie, and Ryan and Allison with the primary target being Ryan and Allison. I’m not sure what annoys me more about this season; the way Allison goes around telling people the same story that varies from person to person because she can’t remember what she told the last person, or the way these people come up with code names for their eviction week..operation Bro Down, Operation Extermination. How about, Operation We Suck At This Game?
Every HoH this season thinks they are making some monumental move in the game with their nominations. I don’t mean to burst their bubble but there aren’t any MONUMENTAL moves when there are only 7 couples to choose from pretty much from the start. You win HoH, you nominate people and then they are evicted. There’s no strategy involved this season. The key to winning is to win the competitions as they come, because the overall group of votes is so small that forming an alliance is pointless.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system I can get back to the spoilers. Matt and Natalie won the veto competition. It doesn’t throw much of a wrench into the plans since they weren’t the main target, but it did cause James and Chelsia to drink a glass of haterade, claiming the Matt and Natalie should have been DQ’d from the competition.
Sheila offered herself and Adam to go up on the block just so she could campaign against Allison. I personally think anyone offering to go on the block regardless of how secure they feel about the vote is just stupid, but to each their own. I’m hoping that by some twist of fate Shelia does go on the block and ends up going home just so I can see Adam flip out.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate the cast members individually but together they are a lame bunch and in the words of Danielle Donato “I hate this season in the house soooooo sooooo much!”
