Let’s Talk About Pep Premieres Tonight on VH1

VH1 steps away from their over-done celebrity dating reality shows to do a show starring Sandy Denton. What kind of show? Well, VH1 calls it a “real life comedy”, where she will look for love.
After being burned by bad boys one too many times, Pep decided to get out of the game for a while. She thought maybe clearing her head and going celibate would cause “The One” to magically appear. Guess what? It didn’t! Now Pep is joining forces with three of her closest girlfriends — all single and searching, too — to try the dating scene again. Together the four friends will laugh, cry and dish lots of dirt as they all try to find true love.
VH1’s new original series, “Let’s Talk About Pep” is set to premiere Monday, January 11th at 10:30PM ET/PT. We’ll get to know Pepa’s partners in crime: TV personality and journalist Jacque Reid, who’s entertaining the notion of trying motherhood alone until Mr. Right comes along; Joumana Kidd, former model and sports journalist, now returning to the dating scene after her highly-publicized divorce from basketball
superstar Jason Kidd; and the wild child of the bunch, voiceover artist and radio personality Kali Troy (a.k.a. “Kittie”), on the hunt for a man who’s man enough to keep up with her.
While potential suitors range in age and occupation, the ladies are at a similar place in their lives: All have achieved success in their professional ventures but lack that partner to share it with. Of course they each have very different strategies for finding the perfect guy. But “Let’s Talk About Pep” isn’t just about the dating game — it’s about the ties that bind these girlfriends together. No matter how they fare in sex and romance, they’ve always got each other.
Watch their stories unfold when “Let’s Talk About Pep” premieres Monday, January 11th, 2010 at 10:30 PM ET/PT on VH1.

VH1 has had such great success in finding people to be terrified convincingly that it will bring back Scream Queens again this winter. This time the lucky winner will probably meet their maker in Saw 3D:
(from VH1) This season’s cast will once again be put through a horror film boot camp with intense physical challenges, learning how to work with creatures, gore, and stunts, while also building their acting chops. The winning actress will have to prove to the panel of judges that she has the talent, the looks, and especially the lungs to be a true “Scream Queen.”
Mentoring the hopefuls through the exacting process will be former model-turned-actress and horror film alum Jamie King (“My Bloody Valentine,” “The Tripper”). The cast will also be taught by Hollywood’s toughest acting coach, John Homa, and have their performances directed by Tim Sullivan (“2001 Maniacs,” “Driftwood”).
“Horror films continue to dominate the pop culture landscape and are some of the biggest film franchises out there,” said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming and Production, VH1. “Following the success of last season’s winner Tanedra Howard in Saw VI, we’re looking forward to working with Lionsgate to find the next great horror actress.”
“Real opportunities to break into feature films are rare in acting competitions and it’s great to be able to deliver on that promise,” said Kevin Beggs, Lionsgate’s president of television programming and production. “We’ve enjoyed a terrific collaboration with VH1 on ‘Scream Queens,’ and look forward to building on the success of the series with even more exciting challenges in Season 2.”
“Tanedra did an amazing job in ‘Saw VI,’” said Jason Constantine, Lionsgate’s president of acquisitions and co-productions who oversees the ‘Saw’ films, “and we’re excited about giving another deserving newcomer a role in ‘Saw 3D.’”

Things went very well at Saturday’s arbitration hearing between estranged reality television couple, Jon and Kate Gosselin, according to UPI. So well, says Jon’s lawyer, that the second arbitration hearing scheduled for Monday won’t be necessary. So well, in fact, that their divorce may be final by the end of the year.
Then, once Jon’s TLC lawsuit is settled, we won’t have to see him any more. Unless VH1 wants him to do a dating show, or they resurrect The Surreal Life. Or, if he does a benefit bikini mud wrestling match against Spencer Pratt for charity.

VH1, Dr. Drew and Irwin Entertainment have expanded their documentary series on addiction to examine one of society’s most taboo topics, sex addiction, in the upcoming series “Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew.” The series is set to premiere on VH1 on Sunday, November 1 at 10pm*.
Addictions are nothing new, and most people are aware of those involving alcohol, drugs, and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, but few know about and understand sex addiction. It afflicts roughly 3%-6% of the American population, and just like other addictions, its impact on personal lives can be devastating. The affliction can wreak havoc on the mental and physical health of those afflicted as well as destroy marriages, families, careers and even finances.
Dr. Drew and a team of the nation’s foremost experts on sexual addiction will guide eight patients through an intensive state of the art program. Living together for 21 days, they’ll meet with Dr. Drew in daily one-on-one and group therapy sessions in order to get to the root of their compulsive behavior.
Dr. Drew will once again give viewers an unflinching look at exactly how the rehab process works and what it feels like for participants. Dr. Drew hopes to use his patients to humanize the process and show viewers that treatment is a viable way to break the cycle of addiction.
Beginning Monday, October 26 fans can catch a sneak peek of the season’s first episode on VH1.com – one week before the on-air premiere. Subsequent episodes will be available on VH1.com the morning after they air. Additional video content from “Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew” including extras from each episode will be available on VH1.com and on VH1 Mobile throughout the season.
