jonie-chyna-doll-laurerFormer WWE wrestler, and reality show star Joanie “Chyna” Laurer was rushed to the hospital yesterday after mixing pills and alcohol at her 36th birthday party. Although physicians at the hospital wanted to do a psychiatric evaluation, they were unable to because she was apparently too drunk to be coherent.

Sources at her Burbank home say that the former WWE champion, mixed vodka with prescription pills, and arrived at the hospital with cuts on her arm. Friends were concerned that she had attempted suicide, although this has yet to be confirmed.

After leaving professional wrestling, Laurer went on to do reality shows, such as Celebrity Fear Factor, The Surreal Life,  The Surreal Life; Fame Games, and most recently, Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

Redemption Song To Premier Oct. 29th on Fuse

Is it me or are we getting way more talent reality shows these days? It just makes you start to wonder how many of these winners go on to have the success that they’re promised at the start of the show…ok, that’s enough reflecting on how much winning a reality show helps your career.

Fuse got 11 talented ladies whose dreams of rock stardom were knocked off track by their bad attitudes, hard partying ways, and trouble making past. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is Developing a Reality Show

…and big surprise: Vince McMahon is not involved. According to Variety, the show will not involve Austin as his WWE character, Stone Cold. However, they are tight-lipped as to what the show will be about.

The show is being developed by Original Media, who developed the reality show, Miami Ink. Austin has done some marginal acting, on television and in film, with a part in the 2005 remake of The Longest Yard, and starring the mediocre action film, The Condemned.
