The man accused of stalking America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks last year will go on trial today in New York City.

Brady Green of Dublin, GA  spent much of his spare time last winter phoning Tyra’s studio, sending her letters, flowers and following her from coast to coast. On March 18, 2008 he was arrested in Manhattan for showing up at the studio where her daytime talk show, The Tyra Banks Show is taped.

The 36 year old Green has entered a plea of not guilty of stalking and harassment. He was just working his crazy-creep mojo that drives the ladies wild.

If convicted he could face 90 days in prison.

Tyra Stalker Warned to Be Creepy at a Distance

The star of America’s Next Top Model and self-titled talk show host, Tyra Banks has had a restraining order filed against an overzealous fan whose love of her is a little too “fierce”.

Brady Green of Dublin, GA has been stalking the supermodel since January, showing up at both her Los Angeles and New York studios. He has also made repeated phone calls to the studios in an attempt to make contact with her, and sent her letters and flowers.

He was finally arrested when he took a bus from Georgia to New York and showed up at her studio to speak with her. And always the deeply considerate romantic, he came bearing gifts: a big old duffel bag filled with magazine clips of Tyra and notes to himself, logging all of his attempts to contact the star.

And Tyra responded in the way that any woman lucky enough to be showered with such gifts would: she had his ass locked up.

Green was charged with two counts of stalking, harassment and criminal trespass. He plead not guilty to the charges and was released on his own recognizance. A restraining order was then filed on behalf of Tyra, stating that she felt that she was in danger of “physical injury, serious physical injury or death.”
